Keep your jests for the king

This is my last card featuring one of the latest commissioned images from Simply B Stamps, the image is Jester Karen and it really is a fun one.

I love to play along with the challenges at Sketch n’ Dies and I’ve used their sketch to make up my card.  I have three die cuts on this card, I’ve layered two Nesties for the rectangular element Jester Karen is framed by and another for the sentiment.  With so many die cuts I think I’ve got the twist covered for the Craftitude current challenge so I’m entering my card over there.

With a jester as my image I just had to go with bright colours and a real rainbow of them, it’s certainly how I think of jesters.  The candy stripes of the designer paper really work well with the image.  Over at Tok Bobok they’re running a rainbow theme for their challenge into which I’ll be entering my card.

  2. Love this crad design...every little detail. The paper choices are fabulous with this beautifully coloured image. The colours are vibrant and the patterns playful. The touches of black provide fabulous contrast and the layering of shapes is wonderful. Thanks for joining our Anything Goes/That's Die-licious challenge at Craftitude this fortnight. I hope we see you again soon.
