Sharing a quick
CAS card I made using some of the stamps from the Beautiful You set from
Stampin’ Up!.
I’ve really grown
to love CAS cards and how elegant they can look, especially in a classic colour
scheme of black and white with a pop of colour. I chose to go with red for my colour pop to
match the current theme at Try it on Tuesday of ‘The Lady in Red’.
Over at Stamp Ink Paper they are celebrating the birthday of one of their DT, Andrea, and are
looking for birthday themed projects. I
don’t always put a birthday sentiment on my birthday cards but I really liked
the one that came in the Beautiful You set so I added it to my card. I just masked off the ‘gorgeous’ as it’s not
really something I’d say to the recipient.
I resisted the
urge to add in any shaker elements and therefore also stayed clear of my dies
so I’m linking this up at CAS-ual Fridays where dies are currently not
allowed. For a bit of sparkle and bling
I did add in a few tiny gems.
