Sharing a card
today featuring the sweet Teen Fairy Mia from Mo’s Digital Pencil.
The layout of the
card follows the current card sketch over at Feeling Sketchy. For the horizontal element at the bottom I’ve
added in some sequins and gems to substitute for a trail of fairy dust. My colour scheme comes from the current
palette at Color Throwdown, it worked beautifully for a fairy image. I coloured up the gorgeous fairy from Mo with
my watercolours, printed on a piece large enough to save any fussy cutting as
she has some wee little bits that would challenge even the most seasoned fussy
cutter!
I went with the
fairy image as the current theme over at Fussy and Fancy is for things with wings. Hoping this isn’t then too young for my niece
who is turning 14 although Mia is a teenage fairy after all.
