Today I’m sharing a title page from an 8x8 album I am making that features Christian Count Drac from the awesome A Roberts’ Halloween collection at Simply B Stamps.

These images were released last year for Halloween and I actually started this album back then planning to have it done for Halloween 2013, let’s see if I can get it done for Halloween 2014 as I still have a couple of pages to go!  I coloured Christian up last August and am proud to say that this version looks a lot better, my pleats are more defined and overall I think the colouring is just better, you can check out the earlier version here.

To make up my page I followed the current sketch at Outlawz, the element in the middle was lovely and Gothicesque so perfectly suited to Count Drac.  I didn’t have an exact match for it but the Nestie I used was pretty close.

As this album is intended for a male I’ve kept the colours and embellies fairly sedate although not sure what I’m going to do when my stash of CTMH Haunted Assortment embellies runs out, loving them for Halloween projects!  And seeing there is a male image featured and the album is for a male I am entering this in the current Dragonfly Dreams’ challenge.

It’s also a bit dark, Count Drac is certainly a dark character and the way Abigail Larson has drawn Christian in the role isn’t at all cutesy but sombre and deliciously dark.  As such I am also entering this in Left of Center’s current challenge.

Just a Little Love Bite, My Dear, Nothing More

There’s an awesome new release of Steampunks over at Simply B Stamps from the hand of Abigail Larson.  They feature Betty’s family and are ready for you to start your Halloween projects, meet Christian Count Drac from A Robert’s Halloween collection.

As this is a release day image I’ve placed him on a Kraft album page and he will go into my keepsake box.  I have a huge stash of Halloween papers and this one, from We R Memory Keepers was just perfect, I cropped it down to have half the moon and some bats and stars showing.
