I’m sharing a CAS
Christmas card I made featuring the gorgeous Spiral Christmas Tree die from Dixi
Craft.
I decided to go
with a Christmas tree on this card as that’s the optional twist at Happy Little Stampers in their current Christmas challenge.
Over at Sparkles Christmas they are challenging you to make a Christmas card with
non-traditional colours. I thought I’d
play along and to help me pick my colours I used the colour palette from CAS Colours & Sketches. So my tree is
cut from Stampin’ Up! cardstock in Dapper Denim. I cut two and layered them on top of each
other to give some dimension to my card.
The star is cut from copper foil from La-La Land and I’ve decorated the
tree with some gems I coloured with a Copic marker that was a pretty close
match to Peekaboo Peach.
