Belatedly Disengaged

I found out on Friday it was my manager’s birthday the week before and considering most of the people who work with him have at least one card made by me I figured I better make him one too.  So here it is, featuring Pipper from Simply B Stamps.

I followed a sketch at Crafting Musketeers; I did alter it slightly with the addition of the box for my sentiment, which I needed for the whole card to work.  The text inside is a bit of an in-joke and referencing one of the roles my manager has at work.  Not sure if it really counts as ‘dark humour’ for the Punk You Girl challenge but it’s as funny as I can get and probably as dark as I would dare get with my manager!

 

As this is going to a man I’ve let the sketch and my designer papers do all the work, it was a nice clean sketch so it worked well for this card.  The Graphic 45 Proper Gentleman paper pack also works a treat for male cards.  As I’ve chosen the plaid print this also works with the Speedy Fox and Friends challenge.
