The more you toot, the better you feel...

I’ve got a fun CAS card to share featuring one of Tim Holtz’s Bird Crazy stamps.

Now when I saw the current challenge over at Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers I just knew it was the perfect opportunity to use my Bird Crazy stamps that I finally managed to get my hands on.  Now tell me, doesn’t he just look like he’s smelled a, you know, well, OK, I’ll say it, a fart!

To make up my card I’ve followed the current sketch over at CAS(E) this Sketch.  With such a fun image and being for a male I didn’t need any fancy embellies.  I chose my colours based on the recipient’s footie team colours (yellow and blue, yep, for all you Aussies he’s a Parramatta Eels’ tragic) and did up the stripes and the bird in Tim Holtz Distress inks.

Over at the Alphabet Challenge they are looking for one layer cards, which mine is.  Well, sort of.  I did mount my one layer on a base, mostly as I didn’t have a piece of Speciality Stamping Paper big enough to fold into my favoured 6x6 card so went with a Bazzill cardstock base for stability.

Clean and simple is the current theme at Creative Knockouts so I am entering my card there.  As it is for a male I’m also entering it in the challenge at Ruby’s Rainbow.  With my cute crazy bird I am also linking my card up at Crafty Creations for their current out on a limb challenge.

Oh, and of course I need to leave you with the inside that finishes of the sentiment and qualifies this for Edna’s current challenge, poor ol’ girl has a spot of gas.
