My card today
features an image from Super Colouring that’s actually a tutorial on how to
draw Elvis.
I’ve made this
card for a colleague who is retiring who I affectionately refer to as the King
of Intel. Hence the Elvis reference,
that and I can just see him dancing his way out of the office on his last day!
As it is for a guy
I wanted to keep it fairly CAS so headed over to Freshly Made Sketches for some
inspiration and I’ve followed their current sketch to make up my card. I learned you can print with a laser printer
on washi tape, although lining it up properly proved a bit of a challenge but I
got it in the end. With my sentiment I am
entering my card in the current challenge at Craft Rocket.
Now in picking an
Elvis image I just couldn’t go passed a blue suede shoe reference so I’ve coloured
up Elvis in his black suit and those iconic shoes. Love the way he turned out. As I’ve got a song reference on my card I am
also entering it over at Edna’s Yodelayeeeehoooo challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.
