A fallen blossom returning to the bough…

Sharing my first card of 2018, a CAS one featuring the Painted Butterflies stamps and dies from Altenew.

The layout is from the sketch at Less is More, I’ve used the butterflies for my corner elements.  To add some interest while keeping it CASI cut the butterflies from the white top layer and then added in stamped and die cut ones on foam dots into the negative spaces.

For my colours, I’ve used the palette from Sunday Stamps.  I think I’ve used them all, it’s kinda hard to tell exactly what the colours are on a computer monitor but the ones I chose look like the image on my monitor.  I do love the palette though with the blues and beiges and then the pop of the soft pink.

Given I had the matching dies for the newbie butterfly stamps and I used them on this card I am also entering it in the current challenge at Pause, Dream, Enjoy.
