Sharing a CAS
card featuring one of the stamps from the Geometric Pattern Builder set by Simon Says Stamp! and one of Zoe’s fabby chippies from Make it Crafty.
I’ve the honour
of guesting over at AAA Cards for their challenge this fortnight and this is my card for the challenge.
To keep it CAS I’ve
used just a part of one of the pattern stamps from the set using Ranger’s
Vermillion ink to stamp then adding clear embossing powder to give a lovely
shine and texture to the stamping. My sentiment
is embossed too, clear over the black inked background and gold for the top layer. With all my wet embossing I am entering my
card in the current challenge at Crafty Friends.
Over at CAS on Friday
they’re looking for big sentiments or words.
While my chippie isn’t all that big, it does dominate in my otherwise
sparsely filled card so I’m also linking up there. And while I’ve added in some embellies I’ve
kept those subtle, just accentuating the geometricness of the pattern. This has kept the whole design very CAS,
which happens to be the theme over at The Sisterhood of Stampers, so I’m
entering my card there too.
