Sharing a cute
card I made for my nephew featuring Oscar from the Jude and the Rockers Everyday collection at Simply B Stamps.
My card follows
the current sketch at Sunday Stamps. I cut
down the number of circle elements but added some extra fun by making them into
windows and adding some sequin stars. I backed
the windows with some Prima paper from their Craftsman collection as I thought
it went with the rocker dude image. As I
have lots of shakers I am entering my card in the current challenge at Just Us Girls. I think little Oscar looks cool
placed over the shaker elements as though he’s rocking out in front of a stage
background.
Over at Sweet Stampin’ they are looking for cards for men or boys, which mine certainly is. Although you have to skip out on the fussy
and flowery elements with male projects I still think you can have fun with
them and provide interest in different ways, like adding a shaker window.
