Summer Fun Among the Gardenias

This gorgeous fairy is Summer from Simply B Stamps, she comes in two versions and today I’ve got a card featuring the eyes closed version.  She was the freebie for this month’s challenge on the Simply B Fan Page.

I’ve put her on a card following a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  The Fan Page challenge also called for a background you had to make yourself from something other than a stamp.  I’ve made mine using a Spellbinders’ die, a Cuttlebug folder and some embossing powder.  I tried a few other techniques but all I ended up with was three sheets of ruined paper and blue inky fingers, that said, I do like how this one turned out.
