I’ve got a CAS
card to share today featuring Martial Arts Boy, from Kenny K, made for a friend’s
birthday.
Given the
discipline of karate I thought a restrained monochromatic card would best suit
the image and the current sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches was
perfect. I made the two horizontal
elements into my sentiment, which I printed straight on to my base
cardstock. I put a second piece of card
behind my image just to add a bit more interest with the black border.
I think the pop
of yellow works well too, I went with that colour as my friend recently got
his yellow belt in karate. He takes his
youngest daughter, a sweetie who is about to turn six, to karate so figured he’d
learn too and he loves it hence featuring it on his card.
Clean and simple
is the current theme over at Cute Card Thursday so I am entering my card
there. Over at the Male Room they are
looking for letters, which I have on my card in my sentiment and it is for a
male so I’m also entering their challenge.
