To hear the sea-maid’s music

My card today features a beautiful image from Feriberri on DeviantART called Into the Ocean.

I went with a shaker card, as this has been made for a special friend’s birthday.  She is, like me, a Steampunker at heart so I had to use my metal embellies on this.  Metal is the current theme over at Fairytale Challenge so I am entering my card there.

At Southern Girls they want to see things you like on your card.  So, I love lots of layers, I love matting my designer paper on plain cardstock, I love lace, I love Steampunk, I love using lace and pearls, and I love my metal embellies.  So basically this card is laden with things I love!

My shaker window is filled with lots of sparkly, glittery goodness to represent the water the mermaid is swimming in.  With all my sparkly stuff and shine on my metal embellies I am also entering my card in the current challenge at Creative Corner.
