Today I’m sharing
another one of the beautiful Steampunk Zodiac images from Simply B Stamps, this
one is Aquarius.
To make up my
card I followed a sketch at Crafting Life’s Pieces. I made the background paper by taking some
quotes from my favourite book, Persuasion, and using the Jane Austen font to
print them in a soft copper colour on a piece of aged looking paper.
I also made the
umbrella using the Tim Holtz Mini Bird and Cage die; I got the idea from my
awesome teamie, Jenny (go check out her fabby umbrella and blog). I used some mesh ribbon and fabric for the ‘skin’,
made the spine a bit fancy with some pearls and the handle is a piece of Mizuhiki
(Japanese paper cord).
