Ring-a-ling, hear them ring…

I’m sharing a card today I made as guest DT over at Crimbo Crackers for the current bells challenge featuring some Tim Holtz bell dies.

To make up my card I followed the current sketch at Jingle Belles.  I did add in the whole musical sentiment element to the sketch.  One, because I wanted to make sure it was clear these were Christmas bells and not wedding bells, and two, because I also wanted to enter the current challenge at Christmas Card Throwdown which is for musical notation.  It was crafty serendipity (there’s been a bit of that happening in my craft room lately, which is pretty amazing given the state of disorder it’s in!) that I had a sentiment that was actually lyrics from the Christmas song, Silver Bells.  This came from a Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps set and I stamped it over my musical notation (a Tim Holtz stamp), which I am sure is from an entirely different song, not sure which though as I can’t read music.

The current theme at Crafty Friends is for things beginning with ‘b’.  I’ve got no less than five b-b-bells on this card so I am linking it up over there.

If you’d like to come join the fun and ‘ring in the season’ with some bells over at Crimbo Crackers you have until 19 April to do so.
