Had to make up a
sympathy card tonight for a colleague whose father passed away and used Wild Poppy Silhouette from Donna Downey Studios teamed with a stamp from Kimmie’s Sympathy
Set by Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps on it.
I didn’t expect to have the chance to
play along again over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers but this is a ‘dispatching’
card so am joining Edna again. Hoping for
better news when I get in to work tomorrow that may lead to a hat trick if
someone is hatching and hopefully that someone appreciates snark!
I’m just under
the wire to enter this over at TGIF where their theme is sympathy or get well
cards. Truly one of “those” occasions as
they say, sometimes the hardest cards to choose supplies for and the absolute
hardest to find words to write inside but I think also the ones most appreciated.
Ended up going
with watercoloured flowers on this one using an old stamp, wasn’t sure how old
but found blog posts featuring it from 2013.
The sentiment is also from a long since retired set, think I’ve had mine
at least a couple of years and bought it on clearance. With all my old rubber and flowers I am also
linking this up at Retro Rubber.
