A second
Hallowe’en card I made over the weekend features a cute image from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps from the A Treat for Someone Sweet! set.
To make up my
card I’ve followed the current sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches. I got some fab Hallowe’en themed sequins from
Neat & Tangled so I decided to make the vertical rectangle element a shaker
panel. I inked the background to the panel
in purples and added some glitter with a Wink of Stella pen. I didn’t have a stamp or sticker to suit for
the sentiment panel so I simply wrote my sentiment in Enamel Accents and matted
to match the card base. I swapped out
the heart element with my cute little image.
And no way was I fussy cutting his antenna so I made my own with a bit
of wire and a drop of Enamel Accents.
Over at Dream Valley they are looking for projects for boys.
I deliberately went with the unfussy design of this card and the image
choice of a boy trick or treating as it is going out to a boy. Well, a rather grown-up one but judging by
the way this one goes for the lolly jar at work I reckon there’s a little boy
still very much inside him! The Male Room are also looking for male Hallowe’en projects so I am also entering my
card in their challenge.
