I’m sharing a
card I made for a friend’s birthday featuring an image from Enys Guerrero called
Magic Steampunk Girl.
This has been a
year of CAS for me and I’ve had fun going simple on my cards even if trying to
keep inky finger marks off white cardstock has, at times, been rather
frustrating! To make up this CAS card I’ve
followed the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.
My colour scheme
comes from Cupcake Inspirations, where I’ve used the cream to colour up my
image. I love a simple monochromatically
coloured image and cream is a wonderful colour to go monochromatic with. It especially suited my Steampunk image. Gave the image a splash of red and used red
for a more dramatic base. I added in the
gold with some double matting using a metallic cardstock.
Over at ABC Challenges they are looking for ‘varied’ (anything goes) projects so I am also
entering my card over there.

CAS looks so easy but those inky finger marks can make it really difficult!! You've done beautifully and shown off that sweet image perfectly. I love her cream color scheme with the two little pops of red. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
