Sharing a QCAS
card featuring a stamp from The Ink Road called Bun Intended 2.
My layout is from the current sketch at Fusion, where I’m just playing the
sketch half of the challenge, although with my mostly black and white colour I could
almost be rocking the fusion. I actually
went with my black and white with a pop of red to play along at The Paper Players. Love this colour combo so much.
Rather than colouring
the image I’ve just added clear embossing powder so the image and the sentiment
both have a lovely shine and texture. Did
this so I could also link up at International Art & Soul. A few black gems for some added interest
finished off my very CAS card.
This card is heading
out to a teenage girl for her birthday, which is why I went with the sentiment from
the Bun Intended 3 set from The Ink Road.
I think it’s a great self-affirming sentiment for what can be a really
hard time in a girl’s life.

Very sweet card, Emily! Great idea to flip the sketch and to use clear EP for the image and sentiment! Lovely color palette, too! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Fusion!
ReplyDeleteI love the pops of red with the black and white. I think this is a great card for a teenage girl! Thanks for playing along with the color challenge over at The Paper Players this week!

ReplyDeleteWhat an intriguing image....and you've used it perfectly! I love how the red ribbon is lined up so well, and the layout is great with this line image! So cool! Thanks for sharing this with us at the Players this week!
ReplyDeleteThis is a terrific take on both of the challenges! Love the name of the stamp - lol!
