Words that enlighten the soul are more precious than jewels

Sharing a QCAS card featuring a stamp from The Ink Road called Bun Intended 2.

My layout is from the current sketch at Fusion, where I’m just playing the sketch half of the challenge, although with my mostly black and white colour I could almost be rocking the fusion.  I actually went with my black and white with a pop of red to play along at The Paper Players.  Love this colour combo so much.

Rather than colouring the image I’ve just added clear embossing powder so the image and the sentiment both have a lovely shine and texture.  Did this so I could also link up at International Art & Soul.  A few black gems for some added interest finished off my very CAS card.

This card is heading out to a teenage girl for her birthday, which is why I went with the sentiment from the Bun Intended 3 set from The Ink Road.  I think it’s a great self-affirming sentiment for what can be a really hard time in a girl’s life.
