My final project
featuring the new release from Simply B Stamps, Betty Boo, features just some
of the word art that comes with it.
To make up the
cards I have followed the current sketch over at Deconstructed Sketch, I’ve just
made them mini, they are just 2.5x3.5”, a bit of a challenge but also a great
way to use up some scraps. As these are
mini cards I am entering them in the current challenge at Mod Squad.
The current theme
over at ScrapbookerPhD is to add texture so I have done that in two ways, first
with some embossing of the black-grey paper, it’s a bit hard to see on such a small
card but the Tim Holtz Wood Grain folder was just perfect for a ghostly
Halloweeny feel. My second bit of
texture was added with some embossing paste and a stencil on the brown paper.
If you want to
see the fun image that comes with these sentiments you can see three different
projects from me right here on my blog, one featuring just the image here,
another featuring the image and the ‘fly with me’ sentiment at this post and
the final one using the ‘if the broom fits’ sentiment here. You can also see what the awesome DT have done
with this set, Betty Boo, and the other just released image and word art
set, Zombie Bride Betty, by heading over to the SBS blog or following the links at
the bottom of this post.
