Sharing a card for
an adult birthday featuring one of Tim’s new stamps from the Cocktails Blueprint set.
Used the current
sketch at Feeling Sketchy for my layout, using the martini stamp for the main
element. As this card is going out to a
guy I went with the martini, most manly of the drinks in the Cocktails set,
thinking maybe I really need to get the beer and wine set too ~ does the crafty
wish list ever get any shorter?! I also limited
the embellies to the celebrate chippie from Make it Crafty, all time fav
chippies, and a few enamel dots.
Having kept this
card CAS means I can link it up at Papercraft Challenges. It also means it is flat (the Make it Crafty
chippies ship regular post, another bonus) and easily goes in a regular
envelope so I’m also good for the birthday party over at Cards in Envy.
And because CAS
doesn’t have a ‘b’ for boring in it I’ve gone a bit fancy with my stamping and
colouring of the martini. I didn’t stamp
on the card base but rather on vellum, which also helps the glass to look well,
more glasslike. Also stamped in
embossing ink and used white embossing powder for a different look and apart
from a bit of fussy cutting this was uber quick as hardly any colouring in a
regular martini.
