He’s a gentle one

Sharing a card featuring the cute Wryn and Her Horse image from Tiddly Inks.

The image is water coloured and I have to say it’s one of the best horse images I’ve seen around.  Love all that flowing hair and cute little Wryn peeking out from under her helmet looking like she’s whispering secrets to her bestie horsey friend.

Over at Tiddly Inks they are having fun going around in circles so I’ve made a circle card to play along.  I also wanted to play at Animal Friends where they’ve headed down to the farm.  So to make my card more farmy I’ve framed my image in woodgrain cardstock from Tim Holtz to give the impression of a barn.  Have to say I am loving this cardstock, not that that will stop me getting my hands-on Tim’s new 3D woodgrain embossing folder as soon as I can!

Between the usual shape of my card and the funky woodgrain frame I didn’t think I needed to go OTT with the embellies so I’ve kept it all rather CAS.  The metal embellie has been in my stash for simply ever but was just perfect; it was exactly the right size to fit across the straight edge of the fold (crafty serendipity at work right there!) and I think it works as either the name of the horse or the feeling my niece has when she’s riding with her bestie.  As I have kept it CAS I am also entering the current challenge at Always Fun.
