In the Arms of an Angel

My card today features a stunning angel from Betty of Simply B Stamps, I love this image but colouring her always means that something sad has occurred as I only ever use her for sympathy cards.  This one is going to one of the ladies on the Simply B Stamps Fan Page who sadly lost her mother this week.

I followed the sketch at Sketch N Stash and combined it with a twisted easel JenniferD's style (check out Jennifer’s awesome work, it is divine).  So lying flat my card looks like the sketch, slightly tweaked, but it opens out into a twisted easel like this.
