Chapel of Love

I have a rather special project to share today featuring an awesome image from Simply B Stamps, drawn by Betty herself, Till Death.

This shadow box has taken a very long time to put together with all the little elements, not to mention the electrical wiring that I have to thank my Dad for (I’m challenged when it comes to those things!).  There’s loads of chipboard elements and details in this project, I think maybe too many roses as it’s a bit hard to see my graves.  The image inspired this project and I wanted to create a church scene with a splash of the Sound of Music in the wrought iron fence and the graves.

This would make one heck of a gift to remember for an anniversary (not sure I’d be game to give it for a wedding present unless the couple had a really quirky sense of humour!) from a wife to husband!  As such I’m entering it at the current Crafty Catz challenge.  With all my roses I’m also linking it at the current Alphabet Challenge.  There’s various forms of ink on it so I’m entering it also at the anything goes challenge at Inspirational.
